Kaibab Archery

Oh jeez I lost the first week of the Kaibab archery season due to getting my step daughter settled in at Eastern Michigan U. She came from China so needed a ton of step dad assistance. Very rough when a kid has no SS#. But anyway I'm finally on my drive out to begin hunt Friday. Looking forward to some terribly needed R&R. Any fellow hunter reports so far? Monsoon seems over.

Should squeeze in ten days before I move over to my elk hunt area. Solid combo this year.

My third day here. Got with 50 yards of three decent bucks but somehow they busted me despite with straight in my face. ? It's quite a bit more dry compared to last year. Many water holes bone dry. I'm not hunting water though I never see any big ones there in daylight.
