My wife and I drew 24b rifle javelin tags. Never been there before and have never hunted javelin, so it will be a learn as we go affair. Not going to ask for areas to hunt as I doubt anyone would be willing to help in that aspect but I do have a Serious question.
Would you camp (wall tent) or would you rent a motel room and drive in every day. Being close to the border I'm a little apprehensive to leave a tent out, but haven't lived in Arizona for 30 years so don't know the current illegal alien situation in that area.

Gotcha, thank you Ed. In that case any decent places to camp? Don't need a camp ground were pretty self contained.

I'm not familiar with the unit as far as camping but as with most az units you shouldn't have any issues finding one.

I would recommend camping off the road from Queen Valley headed up to Roger?s trough trailhead. I don't hunt pigs there, and being as you are non-resident I'll tell you the last place I seen pigs in the unit (earlier this month during the whitetail hunt).
