Unit 1 Late Elk

Well, I finally drew a Unit 1 tag. Looking to see if anyone has hunted this hunt before, and what you would reccomend. It is a big unit, and trying to decide where to concentrate my efforts. I've never hunted Arizona before, but have hunted all over the west. Anybody have any experience here?

It is not a big unit. It is much smaller than most other units in AZ. I used to live in the unit and was all within my Forest Service ranger district. Unit 1 is one of those units where great elk habitat exists everywhere in the unit. What are the season dates? Elk can be found on just about any given acre, until snow drives them out of the high country.
