Looking to scout for my elk hunt and look for some deer the first part of September with the otc tag. I tried the first season in 18b last year and I lasted a day and came home it was to hot. I did however go back up around x mass and kill a nice 4 point but I'm wanting to try 17b this year in a little higher elevations. I'll be up close to the yolo ranch. Anyone know the temps around this time a year? Specifically beginning of September. If its gonna be in the 100's I'm out lol
