Hello all. I have a cow hunt that opens on the 9th. It's for several areas with 17a and b being two of them. I am not expecting to see much and I'm making it a elk hunt/ scouting trip for otc deer later in December. I hunted 18b last year with my bow and killed a nice 4 point but want to try the 17's this year. Anyone have a good starting point as I have never hunted those units before. Not looking for someones honey hole just a good spot to enter the unit and a general area to focus. I heard it can get pretty crowded but I plan on hiking away as much as possible. Any help would be appreciated and if anyone needs help with nevada let me know

Don't forget that 17A is closed for archery deer during the December hunt.

If quizzes are quizzical, what are tests?
