Can't find the chart for numbers of people with what numbers of points. In the past, the max point holders were actually going up, rather than down because of people taking the NR hunter ed class.

I'm wondering if that's still the case or if the number is coming down. Seems like someone has posted these numbers or a link to them in the past (Don Martin maybe).

I'm in that unfortunate group of people with one less than max points and will probably never catch up to 13B or 13A. If only I had applied one year sooner!

LAST EDITED ON Dec-07-18 AT 05:30PM (MST)[p]https://www.azgfd.com/hunting/draw/BonusPointProcess/

Go to the Individual Bonus Points per Species link. 112 non-residents at Max and 127 at Max-1 only missing the hunter education point. That makes 239. Remember that they only give top pool non-residents a maximum of 50% of the non-resident quota. The draw is only pulling 3-4 of the max points 13B or bust max points pool per year now. If you are one of the younger max points people, maybe you are assured a tag someday if they don't change the rules again and you live long enough. But there will be many max points non-residents dying with Max points if holding 13B or bust.

Remember that they round up on .5. so a -1 like you applicatiicant should make a good max points friend:)
