archery success

After a 3 hour stalk and one heck of a chess match on the side of the mountain my cousin was able to get his first archery bull. They were answering to bugles but not cow calls right now. We chased this bull for 3 hours and I finally got him mad enough that he charged me and my cousin was able to arrow him at 10 yards. Bull ran 60 yards down the hill and died. We were only .75 miles from the truck but it was so steep and full of blow down that it took 11 hours for three of us to pack him out. What a great but long day.

Congrats on a great bull!!!! I can bet all the dead and down made it a pain to pull him out it is tuff on the knees!!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!

Huge congrats to Preston. What a way to nail a stud bull first year he is not a youth hunter.
One of the better bulls out of the first archery season.
