What is the current condition of Bursum Road - NM 159 - Glenwood to Willow Creek?

Is there any left-over badness from hurricanes or jack-straw trees left over from the fires?
What are my chances of needing a chainsaw?
How many spare tires are needed?

Road is in generally good condition. Haven't had a flat or needed a chainsaw in a while. However, NMDOT is working on rebuilding the road just west of Mogollon so you may encounter delays or closures. I've been through a few times in the last month and I was able to drive right through the construction zone, but it might be different now.

That road is crap, but going slow helps.

Back in August I stopped for a broke-down septic pump truck with two flat tires. That was between Silver Creek Divide and Willow Creek. I had pulled over earlier outside of Mogollon to let him go by 'cause he was wanting to drive much faster than I was.
