Negative my friend unless you got the Jan tag I'd say its safe not to count on it.

We saw a lot of deer on the first rifle hunt. Our camp went 3 for 3. The deer we did harvest were not big forkie,3x3 and a small 5x5. All our first deer. After my nephew shot his forkie we saw a really good buck that I'm pretty sure was harvested the next day. We ended up seeing a few quality bucks, but far from roads behind the locked gates. It was a fun hunt to say the least. I have been on this hunt before without a tag and did not see nearly the amount of deer as last weekend. Good luck to you all.

Not as great despite some of the chatter you hear. I was on the last hunt and had a hard time finding any sizable bucks. Even the little fork horn buck numbers were a bit down. Ended up going 1 out of 2 in our party with one very small 3x. My son in law was trying to hold out for a more mature deer and ate his tag. Biggest we saw was a basket 3x in 3 1/2 days of hunting. Lack of weather had the migration delayed I'm thinking...

With the rain tomorrow and Saturday 310 is gonna be a mess....But on a good note , it's cooled off and deer started to move in over the migration off the "mesa"...310 ZOO IT IS....

Holy molly mother of all mud , the hunt was a challenge.....Saturday was a mudfest, and never made in anywhere close to where I wanted to hunt.Still found deer and a few bucks killed.Sunday morning went to a dog leg off the lake and found more deer, had a guy shoot a buck right next to me, so close my dad thought it was me who shot....That got my motor running, and said game on, and with 10 minutes found 4 more and ended up pulling the trigger on a little 3x3....I'm pretty happy about the hunt , had a blast , even with the tough conditions....Growing up on a ranch Ive never hunted for trophy, tho Id love one its just too hard for me to pass on the shot and I have no regret, just another fun hunt done with my dad....God is good!
