Looking for a guide for top tier elk unit. Any insite for guides and units looking for 350 or better bulls also heard it is easier to draw with a guide draw ? Open to all weapons also Thanks for reading Mike

I have no input as to guides but it sounds like you are looking for something in the Gila (GMUs 16). Yes, registering for a guide can greatly increase your odds of drawing a tag, especially if you are nonresident. Also, your odds will be better if you go with archery instead of rifle. If you are not familiar with the system here in NM look at the website draw odds report. Don't open the pdf version, I prefer the excel spreadsheet. It will show you in previous years how many people applied for each hunt that were registered with guides and how many of them drew a tag. Sorry I have no insight as to which guide to use, but someone on here will help you more in that area.
