My little sister was successful in harvesting a young cow this year. She made a clean 200 yard neck shot with her 7mm-08 using Hornady's 139 gr SST. This was her first big game animal and her third hunt ever. After watching her miss a few elk last year it was awesome to witness her excitement as she walked up to her elk. It is experiences and memories like this that make hunting what it is.
