Son's Successful 2016 Season

Thought I would post my son's 2016 hunting season success. Started last spring with a mature turkey, then his 1st mule deer, and ending with our annual youth incentive cow elk hunt during Christmas break. He is looking forward to putting in for 2017 tags (he is wanting one of those youth bull elk tags in the worst way!)and spring turkey.

Thanks everyone! Obviously I am pretty proud of him. He has developed into quite the hunter over the past 4 years. Thanks to the youth incentive hunts, he has harvested a cow elk each of the 4 years since he was 10 years old. We are also looking forward to my having my youngest son apply for hunts. He is excited to start big game hunting after he got a taste of turkey hunting last spring harvesting a jake at 9 years old.
