Not asking for any specifics or "Honey Holes", how is 6B for elk? Not looking for anything huge would a 200" be resonable?

Thanks,

Clever ploy, you must be trying to deflect us away from the secret elk spot we all just learned about!

There are nice bulls in 6B during the summer months however they migrate to unit 9 around September 1st.

You may want to keep that under your hat!

>Lmfao

Yep, February has been a boring month, good to see things livened up around here, it's been sorta fun.

6B. I've read that it borders 6A and was thinking I could hunt the fenceline, to catch the elk crossing. Maybe even set up some ladderstands on water.

Like you need any help in Unit 6....Ha

But to answer your question...6B sucks and don't put in for it - hardly any elk, lots of hunters - TRUST ME

I just have a great spot for a 200" bull in my den. If I wanted a big one I would hunt 16b, that's the place to go. ;)

I'm sure u wouldn't have a hard time finding a 200 in bull in any unit of the state. Unit 9 has a bunch of 200 In rag bulls

Ok, so I went up and looked from one of the observation parking areas. What's so good about 6b, most of the bulls I saw only had one antler. What's up with that? Why would anyone want to hunt one antler bulls?

Those are the new NPS elk the Santa Fe folks moved in when they took over. Can't decide which sex to be. They get confused about which bathroom to use too.
The manly bulls moved to 9.
