Just a reminder the NEW MEXICO big game draw dead line is Wednesday March 22 at 5PM.Call 1-888-248-6866 TO APPLY OVER THE PHONE, Office is open 8AM-8PM and open this Saturday from 12 noon to 5PM and Monday and Tuesday from 8am-8pm...Wednesday 03/22 from 8-4:30 over the phones , online till 5PM, Application process closes at 5 pm sharp...

I submitted mine at 4:53 pm.

Totally tried my best to resist applying due to I already drew my long awaited Arizona elk tag last week. However, I cracked with 7 minutes to go to the deadline. Applied for two longshots 6B & 16C plus my third choice for my favorite low tier unit. All for early archery. Reason being I'm driving out there anyway and my AZ hunt opens 9/15. These hunts run 9/1-14 so why not? Would only cost some cash, but not wasting points. I'll be right next door anyway. Only a 15% chance. But if I drew I could work via my laptop some times during my hunt, and even if I can only hunt half the days it would be worth it. I'd just consider it a bonus on my drive out.

I just had to apply for something.

For the first time I applied for New Mexico but only for ibex... it's a dream hunt of mine and I figured I won't ever draw if I don't apply and I better start while I'm young .
