I missed the biggest turkey I've ever seen in my life today (bow) down here in FL....
But this just cheered me up!

We are getting closer every day. Good luck!

Which is exactly why I will never tell a sole how the new WY backdoor works.

Here in IL we cannot shot any albino animal, so maybe he felt safe being out in the open as he was. LOL!

I've seen a few of them, but they were always on a farm.
I know they will escape sometimes and pair right up with wild birds!

When I was young I think my grandfather told me that if you shoot an albino animal that they are cursed! So I stay far away lol!

In September of 2010 I saw a black mule deer in southern Colorado while scouting for an OTC elk hunt. Game warden asked if I was sure it was a deer and not a black bear. I should have told him then that I wished to report a black bear with deer antlers.

We saw an albino elk in Colorado a few years ago. Watched for hours and the rest of the herd bullied her nonstop....

Isn't that called a "beer"?

Nothing beats seeing a moron trying to call other people a moron. No dude I don't think these people are about to develop turrets syndrome. The only thing that will happen is people like stomper will enlighten us with demonstrations of how failing something as simple as the GED program can contribute to becoming so socially inept that you have nothing else to do but troll the internet for opportunities to antagonize people in a way that you may not have the fortitude or aptitude to converse with in person.

In 2005 I saw the biggest, most badass bear I've ever seen in Raton Pass, right off I-25.

When I contacted both NM & CO game & fish about history of grizzlies in the area, they both told me I saw an elk.

Went on to find out the last known grizzly was killed by a hunter "in self-defense" about 200 miles from there in the late 1970's.

I heard there was grizzlies near Elk Creek and the Conejos area years ago. I did however have an encounter with wolves in that area in 2010.

That's not too far away, considering how far those animals can travel.

If it was a black bear, it was the meanest one I've ever seen.

I just think it's kind of weird that both agencies tried to blow me off as having seen an elk.

left, it doesn't surprise me (especially NMGF)...I was blown off by NMGF in the mid 90's when i asked if there were elk in the Sandia's...I was basically laughed at and told "there's no elk up there"...he should have told that to the two cows and calf i almost hit on my way up one night...

My gut tells me they are lying to try to protect the animals, but then again, the dividuals that answering the questions could just be clueless.

However, the manner in which they responded is nothing short of insulting.
