16c Muzzeloader

My wife drew a 16c muzzleloader tag this year. We've always hunted 34 but wanted to try something different. Not looking for gps coordinates of where to look for elk but would appreciate any information on private land, outfitter options, country layout, etc... 16A,B,D,and E get all the hype. What's wrong with 16C? Anything I should know? Thanks in advance for any info. Thanks!

Better check your hunt code again.Last time I checked there was no 16c muzzleloader tag.

Check that. Will be hunting with a muzzleloader during Any Weapons Oct 14-18.

All the 16's are overrated? Man, guess I better turn the tag back in and try for a cow. Thanks for the heads up.

Not overrated, over-hyped. Wolves have done the area no favors.

People draw any 16 tag and assume there will be 400 inch bulls behind every tree just waiting to be shot. Harvest stats still 50% and under in most all the 16's.

Big bulls are there, you still just have to be a damn good hunter and get lucky too to harvest a bull over 350 in the 5 day season you get. A person could hunt many years in the 16's and not get a big bull - but if you hunt hard you will probably at least see one.

Seeing one and getting them killed are two different things.

My opinion, it's worth what you paid for it!

Except that one...there are no bulls in 16E, and the ones that are there are all raghorns....
