6A/6C Muzzle Deer

Finally drew this muzzle tag with my son. Super excited and now that school is out we are ready to get to work. A few questions to those of you that have had this tag or have hunted the area in the past.
1. What can I expect as far as bucks? Size, numbers etc..
2. Is there a lot of pressure in one particular area? Need to stay away from?
3. I have been in this area a lot for Turkey hunting and grouse hunting, but have not seen many deer if you were to split the area in have or forth?s where would you spend your time scouting.

Congrats on the tags!! Should be a good hunt with a lot potential on big bucks. I've hunted around forest rd 280 and seen some nice bucks. When I had a cow tag I would see bucks and when I had rifle deer tag I would see legal bucks.. it a good tag and hike in but if you decide to hunt in the Los conchas burn scar... becareful a lot of down fall and the trees are still falling over... can be scary!!
