First hope everyone is having a good preseason and getting there scouting in. I was in Unit 52 this weekend scouting for a up coming Antelope hunt in two weeks. The weather was shitty, it had rained latemorning-mid day and stopped for a few hours in the evening until it started to get dark. I scouted high and low and never could locate a single goat. Was the winter hard on the population and there was that big of a die off or did the weather play a bigger roll then i expected and they were just in the trees. I glassed with binos and spotting scope and looked in all the areas that years passed have had good numbers of goats but i could no locate a single goat. I spotted Elk, Deer and even a yot. Has anyone else noticed a drop in goats in the unit or is it just me.
