I can't stress enough how much I love New Mexico.


This bull was screaming from his little sanctuary from 6:45 until I stalked in and killed him at 9:06. I heard him from across a nasty canyon and told my buddy I was gonna "go kill that bull". (Not really thinking it was going to happen lol)

I had to go around a giant canyon, got the wind right, dropped down, and found him in this beautiful grassy bench that was thick with cover. It took me about 40 minutes to sneak the last 60 yards, but I snuck within 40 yards and let him have it.

Lol ok. I was hunting a place I had scouted and had found some sign in. Sat down by a tree for a break and snack and this guy came in at 30 yards. And the rest is history.
