14 yr old son drew this tag for his first deer hunt. He's excited. We haven't gone up because of school. We drew years ago and also pumped to get back.
Any current info on roads or places we might look into would be greatly appreciated.

My wife and had a fun hunt this past weekend . I harvested a 3x3 opening day and she passed up on one about the same size. Saw a monster driving in off the highway. We only hunted three days so who knows what would have happened had we stayed... Weather and roads were great while we were there. Lots of road hunters, we got out and hiked a lot and did not see a single other hunter. Good luck, pm me for any mor info.

Roads are fine , its snowed yesterday am up on top and they were slick going in but passable...Drying off today , Pagosa Springs got some snow so it should be a good weekend ...
