Unit 34 Mule Deer Help Please

So, I have been out scouting a couple times for my teenage sons upcoming Deer hunt in January, and have not had any luck finding a good spot to try and get a buck with his bow. If anybody could help and maybe recommend where a good location may be to find a buck come January, I would really appreciate it.

I have said this before, but I will say it again. We are a military family stationed at White Sands Missile Range. We probably have this year and next to harvest one of these fine animals and then we will be back on the east coast. It would be really nice to go home with one of these that most people back home don't have.

Can be pretty tough hunt. Unit is overheated for deer. Get with me in Dec and will have a better idea of my schedule, but, at minimum happy to go over some maps with you.

I want to thank all of the members who private messaged and provided advice regarding my son's upcoming archery mule deer hunt. I have several does on camera and a handful of bucks as well. None of the bucks are monsters but we will be hoping that their big brother will come following the does come January. Wish us luck and thanks again.

My son was successful with his first time archery hunting. Thank you to everyone for all the suggestions and help. This was his first buck as well. I am on proud papa.
