Any one do any scouting up in 2b? Just wondering how the migration is without the snow?

Been out every weekend since thanksgiving. Plenty of deer seen several shooters 175+?. The deer come in regardless if it snows or not. It is the breeding grounds not just winter range. Have had zero snow so far the mountains were bare until yesterday and they only got a little dusting

+1 those bucks go in there to rut.And what usually saves them is the crunchy snow when your stalking them.Should be a great hunt

Headed there with my 13 y.o. son in a few days. It won't take a big buck for him to release an arrow. excited to see some deer. Wish I had the tag. Good luck to everyone. I'll post pics if we have success.

Deer are still rutting in 2C so Id say they don't know boundaries and are still rutting north....I spoke to a bowhunter headed to private this afternoon and she said her and her husband have been watching deer rut all week since Christmas....Best of luck and have a GREAT time...

Son and I had a great time, but no luck on a harvest. My first year in the unit, but most people said there were a lot fewer deer than normal. Never saw a buck that would score over 150", but to spend 3 days together looking at deer in sun and 40 degree temps was fun.
