I have looked into this myself some and I cannot find any wording that would make this particular site illegal in New Mexico. It does not magnify nor does it project a beam of light. Curious to hear others input on this as well.....

I too don't see any language in our rules as to why it would be illegal here in NM.

It's legal. Carl I believe saw the huge thread on BS about it. I was SOLD !!! until I called to order it and found out the warranty information.??

Or the price! It's not worth it in my opinion even if it was half priced.

I don't mind spending a little $$ ,just need a good warranty to back it. Especially on a new electronic product . It is really nice .

It is legal here in NM,AS LONG AS A SIGHT DOES NOT PROJECT LIGHT ONTO THE ANIMAL...sorry capps ,not yelling ..

It's a cool idea. Very few rangefinders have warranties longer than about a year. Even big name RF/Bino units often have different warranty lengths for glass versus the electronics. Unfortunately.

In some cases it might be very useful; however, I'd still have to carry a dedicated rangefinder because often I check distances to landmarks, animals that are yet too far away, etc. and it would be a hassle (not to mention too much exposure, e.g. when belly crawling thru grass) to have to hold your bow up to check a distance.

There is a similar unit by IQ that was released at the SHOT/ATA shows. I suspect others will jump in and the cost of these units will come down a little in time.
