I've lived here 18 years and never been because I'm usually chasing barbs this time of year. What do you do at these, sit around and watch rich people bid on hunts?

Yeah you got the gist of it. Visit with fellow hunters, eat dinner, take a chance at a couple raffles. Maybe grab a good silent auction item.

I'll check with the wife and PM you my # if I'm heading up. Is it open seating or like the ducks unlimited banquets where there's sorta assigned seats/tables?

Well, my first grandchild decided to make his entry into this world this morning, so I guess I'll be waiting at least another year to see what this is all about... ;-)

I don't know of anywhere to find the information, but things went high this year. The Unit 2 deer was $31,000. The Gila Elk was $37,000. The Ibex was $37,000.

Anyone know how much the other tags sold for - Valle Vidal and 34/36?

I thought about trying to buy the VV tag but then I remembered I have two kids heading to college in the future

will have to try to draw them.
