I would like to apply my wife in unit 6B for elk in the outfitter pool. Question is, who is the best outfitter to apply with? Any recommendations or past experiences good or bad?

505 Outfitters! They take some big bulls and know the vc really well. My husband harvested the bull on their add picture. Its scored over 400".

Sure did. Top producing outfitter on the caldera! Pete personally guided him and is really easy to work with. My family and friends have had great success with them.

+1 on 505 outfitters. Been to the 2nd with them on my uncles hunt. It was awesome.

i went with ortega on vc 6b hunt...im old and fat, 2 new knees, total ankle replacement...able to walk a mile...killed a 338 bull prolly got a bigger one if id held off....lifelong nm resident, been on several paid hunts, nm, wy, col, yukon...if i draw again he will be my guy...2019 hunt...when me and my buddy drove into camp at dark it was like a scene out of the movie "treasure of the sierra madre"...mexican cowboys sitting around a camp fire with grim looks on their faces...best bunch of guys ive ever hunted with...fed you till more than full...know the elk, know the country, and are super ethical
