As much of us sit in anticipation, was hoping to get some of you to share some pics and maybe stories to take a little of the edge off? ( If that's even possible?) I'll see if I can get something started here.

My 2017 NM kills

Taxidermist explained to me that ivory tips were good... so..

This was a super cool buck. Old, busted up ears, and ruler of the ranch!
I can't wait for him to be done at the taxidermist.

Thank you! I just got invited back to the ranch I shot the antelope on, so I guess now I need to outdo that one.

I'm still hoping for the archery elk tag!

Bugle, that pic from July last year is world class. A BEAST!!!!!!! OMG that's my bull of a lifetime X10 .

We had him dead in the water, called him in to 13 to yards, he hung up behind a juniper, wind swirled and he turned to leave ,I cow called my 15 year old ended up shouldering him . The bull went on some private , the ranch owners grandson killed him with rifle.

This is a blurry pic of him from 800 yards out.

This is a buddy's bull that i got to help with in 2016. First rifle season and it came to rest in a creek about 2 miles from the trail head. Made for a cold wet night.

This is my wifes bull from 2017. It was her first big game animal. This bull was taken just a shade under 4 miles from the trail head so the bike came in very handy with the rigged up trailer.
