Rocky Mt. Bighorn Progress

This is my Once-in-lifetime (OIL) New Mexico, Rio Grande Gorge, Rocky Mt. Bighorn Ram taken this past August. He may not be the biggest ram to ever come out of the gorge, but he is absolutely beautiful. Robert Majors with Majors Wildlife Studio does incredible taxidermy work. By far the best I have ever dealt with. You will never be disappointed with his work.

Man that ram looks great. Also, looks like you took your ram to the best Taxi Man in Southern, NM in not the entire state. Robert Major and his crew are top notch in taxi work and even better people.

BigDaddyL, that's going to be a great looking mount! I REALLY thought about going with Robert for my lifesize desert sheep, but decided on going with Paul and Vince at Imperial in Santa Fe since I could get some "eyes on target" a lot easier from Albuquerque. We truly are fortunate to have such amazing taxidermists to choose from here in NM. I'm glad you went with a lifesize! I was the only one that did last year with Imperial. I swear, that's the best way to do such an animal justice. I'd eat baloney sammiches to pay for another one if I drew a rocky ram of any size. Enjoy!

They cost a good chunk of change but in my opinion worth it since I will probably never get to do it again.

Thanks for all the congrats guys. There will be pictures of him at the NMWSF banquet the end of April. I was going to see if they wanted to display him if he is finished in time, but I am not going to be able to attend the banquet.
