Hunting boots

Been looking at some h7nting boots, narrowed it down to Crispi Idaho GTX and Crispi Wild Rock GTX and info based in experience.

I have a pair of the crispi Dakota GTX and I hate them I have rolled my ankle pretty much every time I have worn them. I have maybe 50 miles on them and they are separating at the seems. Disappointed doesn't begin to describe my experience with crispi boots. I have had great success with meindl from Cabela's.

Take a look at Kenetrek I think you will be impressed. My family has been wearing them for years with no issues.

For what its worth, I wore the Crispi Idaho GTX this guiding season with no issues. That includes general hiking and also carry out heavy loads. I also have two sets of Kenetrek mountain extremes in both insulated and non insulated and they have served me well. I did have to drop one 1/2 down with the Crispi boots. Hope this helps!

I bought a pair of Crispi Summit boots before an Arizona elk hunt last year and have to say they're the most comfortable boots I've ever owned. I also bought a pair of the Crispi Wild Rock boots but haven't really put them to use much as they're more of a cold weather boot. Over the years I've worn Danner, Meindl, Kenetrek, Lowa, Schnee's, Cabela's as well as others. I've been happy with most but the Crispi Summits are the most comfortable by far.

I have a pair of the Crispi Nevada's that I wore this past season. Only have about 20 miles on them so far, but they are great. They were pricey, but they are comfortable so far, and they hold my ankles in place really well

>Danner pronghorn probably the best boot
>on the market exceptional customer
>service too

to add to this my first pair or danners lasted nine years with brutal usage . my pops still has his pair going on 13 season no leak no nothing tread after 13 years is beat up but he refuses to give them up so take that for what its worth
