What's your favorite mount? I just took this pic a little while ago of my 2016 WSMR ram. It's absolutely amazing to have coffee with this dude every morning! I drew this hunt after 3 tries, so anyone can draw! Paul and Vince at Imperial Taxidermy did the work and I can't recommend them enough. We are VERY fortunate to have the artists we have to choose from here in NM...it can be a tough choice some times! If anyone didn't see my post months ago, he scored 173 6/8 and made the all-time B&C book.

A couple of my bulls along with my girls twin bulls from Valle Vidal and my daughter's Once in Lifetime Oryx. Best trophies ever being my girls animals and having the memories from those hunts!

Thanks. It's a South Dakota buck. We had no idea about him. No pictures or sightings of him. Guess sometime luck is all you need. Long story behind it and I still relive it often. I had this deer in my cross hairs at 200 yds but was taking my 12 yr old daughter out for her first buck hunt. She just got crazy buck fever and couldn't get steady so we decided to not take the shot. I wanted to shoot so badly but knew that would be wrong. I know that a buck like this would just ruin a 12 yr old hunter as a First buck but how can a dad shoot it out from under is daughter. Later that morning she took her first buck!! I had decided now that I was going to hunt this buck hard. My conscience got the best of me and I knew I should let my oldest sone try for him. The deer came out that evening just where we left him and the rest is history.
 
Lots of great animals on this page. Someone on another thread said don't fret over the draw and go turkey hunting.
