Elk hunt

Hello, I am looking for an elk hunt for my daughter and I and possibly one other person. Does anyone know if there are any unit wide archery tags available for unit 6a? If not then any info on tags in other units would be appreciative. I would rather have a hunt for her that she can see lots of bulls and maybe have an opportunity at a mature 6 point, rather than not see many bulls but possibly have an opportunity at a monster. This will be her first archery elk hunt and she is excited. She has killed a deer with her bow so she is hooked. thanks

All tags are draw only in NM unless you buy landowner tags.
I'd suggest looking up outfitters in that area and see if they have any landowner tags in that area. For those under 18 there are also the youth encouragement hunts (rifle and muzzleloader) cow only and they are available in July on the NMGF web site.
The draw applications for archery start in January of each year and are awarded in Mid April.
