Would you go to see all those mule deer mounts?

Hi guys, I was wanting to post this on here to see what people thought of this people's choice mule deer show that is coming up in August in Albuquerque. How many of you would go or are planning to go to see all those mounts? How many of you would be willing to take your mount off the wall and enter it for a chance at one of the gift card? Just curious as to what the people of MM thought of this event coming up.

I did not get the amount of response I was hoping the MM community would give me, positive or negative.... Maybe this info helps, so far there are 53 mule deer mounts entered in to the show. There are at least 6 of them over 200" and 2 of them over 240". 2 of the entries are Lt Governors State wide Bucks. Just putting this out there for any of you that like to look at BIG mule deer on the wall. Remember, the event is FREE to attend and also FREE to enter your mount (47 spots still available). Don't worry if you think your buck can get more votes than the 200"ers, you still have a chance at the $1,000 gift card that is an exclusive raffle for mule deer entrants.

Sucks most people will vote for the biggest antlers there rather than the best quality mount which I think is what it should be about. Generally the biggest bucks will come from governors tags and they are the guys that dont need a $4000 gift card. I'm waiting on a buck to get back from the taxidermist right now that I might enter but depends when it gets done.

Ya, this is called "People's Choice Trophy Mule Deer Show" making it up to whatever a person wants to vote for for whatever reason. I believe that the creators of this event didn't want it to be a taxidermy awards show. They want it to be about the deer. I have been fortunate to see pics of close to half of the deer enteted, some big some not so big, i am here to tell you, the buck I'd pick out of the pics I've seen is definitly not the biggest. No matter if you enter or not, don't it sound cool to see that many trophy mule deer in one place? And it is free to go and see!!!

Nope, it will take a lot more than that for me to go to ABQ.
