Unit 41 New Mexico Mule Deer

I drew an unit 41 mule deer tag. Ive put in for NM the last 4 years without drawing a tag and decided to add this area as a third option for this past draw. I have only acrhery elk hunted NM one time prior in unit 12 (far from 41) but that was 9 or 10 years ago. Ive also hunted whitetail before not far from unit 41 on the Texas border side. This unit looks like it is made up of only a handful of landowners. There is not much population and the only city in the area looks to be Logan NM on the south side of the unit. Im ok with just hunting public land, but I am a little worried that if I have to stay in Logan then Im restricting myself on the south end of the unit. Id like to be able to try and find some land access as well if that is possible. Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks for your time and reading. Im looking forward to another hunting season and maybe my first mule deer.

Welcome. Odds are you won't get to far with the landowners ,give it a shot you might prove me wrong!
I think you should be fine to in that unit. Do your homework and work hard,put in effort and miles and have fun.
