What Is Required for the Use of ATV's on Forest/BLM Land in New Mexico? I Have Seen the Required off-road Permit But, That is all I have seen that's required.

In NM you need a registration from NM MVD. Never heard of a off road Permit in NM. Colorado requires an off road permit.

As a Nonresident we are required to buy a permit for use on public land due to UTV not being registered in New Mexico. But, That is all I am finding as far as requirement's.

For non resident that aren't registered in their state you need the NM ohv sticker you mentioned. If your registered in your own state with a plate you don't need anything else. There is an ?on pavement? permit too
