Favorite Muzzleloader combination

I was interested in hearing your guys thoughts on your favorite muzzleloader loads for antelope and deer.

BH209 100Gr 295 sabot Omega 50 cal with 3x9 ML scope with lines in it. Setup with 1st line at 200yd 2nd line is 300yd 3rd line is 400yd, shoots some outstanding groups at those yardages.
This setup will shoot Super tight groups in the right hands.

Currently gearing up for CO elk and deer. Blackhorn 209 84gr by weight, 300Gr Thor .50 cal bullet (full caliber.)
When I hunt ibex, I'll use Barnes 290gr TMZ.

I'm gonna try some of those 100 grain loads. We been using 150 grains of pyrotechnics but most people are telling me 100 grains is plenty. Thanks for sharing guys.

I would clarify weight vs volume on 100gr loads, and check your gun's maximum. 120gr by volume of blackhorn 209 is 84gr by weight, give or take, and I highly recommend weighing charges for accuracy sake. that can take your 2-3 inch 100 yard group and make it a 1 inch 100 yard group, and make your muzzleloader a 300 yard gun instead of a 200 yard gun.

BH 209 110 volume, Barnes TMZ 250, out of a Remington Ultimate .
Like some stated above check what your gun can handle ,but that set up out of any muzzy will do the trip +- the powder.

Seems like most guns take a different breechplug for Blackhorn 209. I have a CVA Wolf and got the replacement breechplug. No issues whatsoever. My buddy keeps telling me to buy a RUM, buuuut the wolf shoots sub-MOA, so why change? And it was cheap, AND it's easy to use.

Hey Bluff, Muzzy hunting and Archery hunting are so similar. You will get a million opinions about THE BEST combo . If you are shooting a load that hits where you aim and are confident ......bad move to change anything. IMO
