My son got lucky and drew a Valle Vidal youth bull tag this year. I'm familiar with the unit and we'll be scouting more between now and the hunt. We are DIY but I'd like to make contact with a packer ahead of time so that we have that option if/when we need it. Any suggestions on packers that you all would be willing to share via PM is appreciated. Thanks.

From past experience there are also always some camps that have horses and guys and they are there primarily there to camp and provide pack services. Mostly local guys that ride and know the VV pretty good. The camphost, Cookie, at the Cimarron campground is usually pretty good at directing folks to who's there and who can do what for folks. Good luck we'll be there for muzzle hunt as well.

Just look for a guy named Tom has a blue dodge, he will pack it out for free. Lol

And bowdeadly is one a the best taxidermists in NM, just drop it off at his shop in Albuquerque and he'll mount it for free! He always runs a first VV elk free special every year! He'll be in the blue dodge with Tom!
