Hunting Outfitter?

I am thinking about going after a Mountain Lion before I retire back to the East Coast from the military. My question is what outfitter would you go through and why?

Mike Root, hands down. You better be ready for a great and tough hunt. Truely a great guy.

There was another, but he is currently not outfitting at this time.

If you want to go on a true dry ground lion hunt then go with the first recommendation you were given. Gary Webb is another good option.

If you want to go on an on-call hunt when it snows then that really opens up your options. There are a lot of guys that can get one caught in the snow including the other guys that were mentioned.

Richard Bacca @Antlers Addition hands down check out his FB page.
This kid is a stud. If you would like some personal info on him PM me. I would love to share a story about him

My understanding is Richard Baca and Antler Addiction got all his hunting and fishing priveleges and guide license revoked for 3 years last spring due to numerous infractions. Copy of the hearing here:

http://www.wildlife.state.nm.us/dow...2017/MIN-Game-Commission-05_11_2017-FINAL.pdf

Antler Addiction is not listed as on outfitter on the NM website.

I saw him on TV, he's still doing Aoudad hunts in Texas in the interim, I think.....

LAST EDITED ON Aug-19-18 AT 08:30AM (MST)[p]If you want a true dry ground horseback hunt I would recommend in this order.
Brandon jones or Gary Webb great guys and run good business and you will get a lion. Brandon and his dogs are the best dry grounders I have seen.

If you want a unique experience go with Mike Root, he is a unique individual and good hunter. I like the guy.

Bridger Petrini another good choice.

GTNunn is a good choice hunts horse back or in the snow. Great guy and good hunter.

If you want to go to Arizona Sam Derringer and his son are top notch lion hunters.

Just decide how you want to hunt that will be enjoyable for you before you pick one. Happy hunting

Stay away from Richard Baca he's broken just about every law fish and game has, and serving a ban for that.

My suggestions are

GT Nunn Frontier Outfitter

Joe Troyer lilJoe

Both stand up guys with great success rates.

Wow I guess I just swallowed a Bug!
I would have never thought that of Richard Bacca
I'm disappointed for sure
