Affordable guided hunt

Any recommendations for an outfitter/hunt for a non res? Or preferably, OTC through the draw, but I understand drawing a tag will be difficult. Up to 6k

Have realistic goals, in very good shape, have killed multiple bulls, just wanting to explore a new state and different type of hunt.

I hunted with Tom Klumker of San Francisco River Outfitters this year. Had an awesome time. All 8 archery hunters (4 each season) got shot opportunities. Nice camp, good food, good horses, lots of elk in the areas we hunted, etc. All his rifle hunters had opportunities also from what I heard.

Base price is a little under what you've listed.

If you draw the tag then most of the Outfitters in New Mexico will be $6,000 or less.
But the top units like the Gila units in the Western part of the state will only be a 1% to 15% chance of drawing.
There are landowner tags but some of these will be $6,000 or more without the outfitter cost.

But there are Outfitters that have hunts for $6,000 that include the landowner tag. I haven't hunted with any of these so I don't have any recommendations.

505 Outfitters offers a variety of hunt packeges. Pete and his crew are the best and I've hunted in about every state.

I second San Francisco Outfitters as well, we hunted with him a few years ago. I also recommend Dave Mathews also davidmathewsoutfitters.com. Hunted with his crew this last Decmenber is AZ and he also guides in NM
