E-Tag option

Has anyone figure out what app this is that we will use for the E-Tags? All I see in the proc is that you will use it but no app name anywhere?

Just thinking positive....

Haven't looked into it as I won't be using it. Still have to carry something with you that you can't lose to tag the animal. A paper tag won't get ruined like a cell phone can.

What it's really about is trying to cut cost on printing tags - they realized it is costly...

I won't lose my phone or forget it at camp. I alway throw it in my pack to take pics with. A small roll of duct tape will be easy to carry for me.

From what I understand the app hasn't been released yet?

Seems a bit troublesome to me but it might work out ok. I like the new sticky tags, I think I will stick with those. I would hate to be the one who screws this up accidently and has to pay for it the hard way. They can experiment on someone other than me

This year I saw a lot of hunters who thought they had all their paper work with them and didn't. You need the lic, the stamps, the tag and the carcass tags. A lot of guys think the lic that list your stamps is all you need. If the phone app puts everything on your phone it should be ok.

Too funny....
The proc says you can put a piece of duct tape on the game and use permanent marker to write the number on it.

I have done stupider things though I am certain?
