NM Passes Comprehensive Gun Control Bill

A comprehensive gun control bill was passed yesterday. Some of the details include and will require background checks at gun shows, person to person sales and obviously already required purchases from gun stores.
Interesting that transfers between immediate family members is not required at this time.
Also included are authorizations from law enforcement officials to investigate whether firearms used in any criminal activity were registered by the offender or previous owners.
Word is that "our Governor" will not recognize Second Amendmemt Sanctuary Counties.

She was fired from the county and won a lawsuit. 1 of the terms was that she couldn't seek employment with the county ever again. Voters voted her in. Don't know how she was even allowed to apply. She says that she doesn't work for the county, only the citizens. Idiotic.

Comrade Lujan should take a look at the map... only 3 or 4 counties left that haven't declared 2nd amendment sanctuary status. Will she do what SHE wants or what the people of this State want ? Most of these counties are DEEP BLUE also.

Explain this to me. The house representatives voted to end trapping on public land, voted for worthless gun legislation, and now voted to legalize marijuana.

It's crazy ! These liberals want to change the American way of life so bad they will do anything. Now dem liberals have a bill in the works that would allow all illegal immigrants and convicted felons the right to vote.... WTF if that's the case why are they so worried about Trump and Russia ? Just hold the elections in Russia. These politicians IMO are out of control and they don't fear the American voter anymore. Wait until all these new minority?s in Congress are toitaly in control I'll bet they will want to change the name of our country because the name America offends people.

Hope this dingbat realizes she is a hypocrite by doing this as she herself defies federal law. Also hope this dingbat realizes an elected county Sheriff has more jurisdiction and authority as far as law enforcement goes than the state governor does.

Also hope this dingbat realizes she only won because of the Rio Grand Corridor. The other 26 county Sheriffs should tell you the real heartbeat of NM.

When she recognizes federal law and Presidential orders, I will comply to her governorship...

As of today, 21 of NM?s 33 counties have declared themselves Sanctuary Counties. Apparently The Sheriff?s Association is on board to sue the state if the new gun control measures are enacted. Especially confiscation of Firearms. This should send a strong signal to our ?governor? and legislators.

It's not just the gun laws, she wants NM to go green which will push many good paying jobs out of NM and into oil and gas friendly TX, she wants NM to become a sanctuary state, with tons and tons of drugs being smuggled across the border and thousands of illegal immigrants coming too she claims there is no problem there( are we that gullible?) abortions up to the day of birth and the list goes on.

I haven't seen anything from here administration that I agree with yet. She got voted in and I believe if they get the illegal immigrants the right to vote which the liberal dems are pushing for NM will never be the same great state it once was. There?s no way because NM won't have enough conservative traditional American way of thinking people to out vote them.
