Please take time to comment on the grizzly delisting in the greater Yellowstone ecosystem. FYI we(hunters) are getting our clocks cleaned in the comments count number.
Here are my comments:
Please delist the grizzly bear from the Endangered species list. Those of us that live & recreate in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem know that the grizzly count is extremely conservative. We also know that the population is completely recovered & grizzly bears are now living in places that put people recreating in the GYE in major conflict.
Furthermore state agencies have a impeccable track record when dealing with managing "endangered or threatened" species
& I'm confident that they will manage at a level will ensure long term success in regards to grizzly populations.

Please feel free to cut these comments into the comment page but take a few moments to personalize them a little.

Sad that people here are not stepping up to the plate. They all complain but many do not step up. I have had my comment in for a long time. I also have had my wife, mother, etc. All comment in support.

Here are my comments, feel free to use them as well. We need to step up and be the voice!!

There are no doubts the numbers being listed for the grizzly bear in the Greater Yellowstone ecosystem are very conservative. As a resident of the state of Wyoming and a frequent visitor to this area, I am 100% confident that our local agencies will do an outstanding job managing the healthy population that is currently thriving in the GYE. De-listing the grizzly bear will accomplish many things for many people. One of them being the safety of the people recreating in these areas. As you know the grizzly bear is expanding their range into many places that have never before had populations. I would encourage you to de-list the grizzly bear and focus these energies on the many other issues that are truly problems. We also need to remind ourselves that this is not a political issue, it is for the health and safety of our wildlife and human populations.
