Wyo 2017

>So much for gaining the skill
>set needed to acquire leftover
>tags in less than 2
>seconds.

Will be interesting to see how this drawing is done.

They'll have to give you a third random number otherwise those with low numbers that drew in the PP or Random would have an advantage.

As I recall, in the not too distant past that's exactly what G&F did before they went to the online "free for all" that WB is so good at, LOL! If they go to that second drawing, they will probably require the application fee that they eliminated when they went to the present system, so theoretically they will make more money on each of those leftover tags.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-20-16 AT 12:21PM (MST)[p]Yea, my odds just went from 100% to zero. And what sucks is that there is no data to show how many were going to try and buy a given leftover. They can't log click thru's because the hunt wasn't available for the guy to click on.

Granted, a drawing is a more equitable way to dispense those leftovers.

The 2nd draw will happen in 2017, be better to put down 2nd & 3rd choices if you want cow tags this year.

This is happening because the credit card firm can't keep up with all the requests at one time.

LAST EDITED ON Jun-07-17 AT 05:24PM (MST)[p]Has anyone gotten any more info about this new leftover draw?
Is it basically an all even playing feild? Or do those that haven't drawn anything this year get a preference? Do earlier applicants get preference?

I was under the impression it was a straight up draw. Though maybe not.
Will there be 1st,2nd, and 3rd choice options?
Would like any word from those in the know if possible.

Thanks!

I read gonna be straight up draw res and nonres together. I'm sure probably be a couple choices or at least I would think!!

I just searched it on G&F site. Looks like dates will be June 26-30 to apply and results July 13. Straight up draw nonres and res together. Also said res and nonres can apply together. And no app fee and don't use your points if your a nonres.

I guess some people don't like the idea of this leftover draw but I think it sounds more fair for all.
Thanks for the information.

Good luck to all!

Millswork I agree. If ya don't wanna go into a draw apply first time around. I was trying to get a leftover last year and said I had it well I was on my phone and lost service while trying to enter payment info so lost it. Draw won't have to worry about being out in middle if no where trying to get a tag if I draw I draw if not that's good to at least I was in.

Technology is not my friend. I could see me having troubles trying to grab tags and goof it all to crap some how at last minute.

Hope I can get it done OK.
I'll sure find out soon enough.

Good to see they moved the start date. At the Commission meeting they wanted to start the day results came out.

This will still catch a lot of people off guard. This will be the best year to draw a leftover.
