My 12yr old daughter and I are looking to put in for Antelope 76-2. so we can spend some time together before school starts. Looking at the regs for this hunt it starts on Aug 15th and is limited to south of Buffalo Creek Road. I was hoping to get a little guidance into what the speed goat population is like in this area in mid August and what we can expect in size. Would love any PMs that could help us.

Any reason why you picked this unit type 2? Not much public land, many other units would provide a better hunt. I have hunted the type 1 tag, don't know that I would be after the type 2 tag if other options existed.

I assume you picked this unit so she can hunt before school starts? Well One problem you will have is most of the public land that you can hunt on that tag is deer country not antelope.

Yes, we were looking for the early hunt before school and because most of September through early November are scheduled with hunts in Idaho, Utah and other hunts in Wyoming. August is open and so we were hoping to add on a speed goat hunt if possible.
