Points Averaging Help?

I think I know this answer, but I want to make sure as I am planning a youth hunt for my daughter next year.

When averaging points how many decimals do they go to? Specifically what would be my best bet in this situation.

Under odds it showed less than 1 point was 100% last year. With 0 it showed 2% success.

So in this case We will have my wife with 1 point. I will have 0 and my daughter will have 0. So our average point would be .333

If I add my father with a point this year it would climb to .500

If I add a buddy with 1 point we climb to .6

In the WY system does every level count separate or do they group everyone in a pool by .5 meaning that as a group we would be less than point .5 without my father and more that .5 with him? Do we get any advantage by skipping to .6?

Odds are I will just take the wife daughter and me and go special, but just trying to plan for next year and give us the best odds.

They would draw a tag before a party with an average of 1.59000 and ones with an average of 1.61000 would draw before you so you can see that one little number out on the end can either make or break you in the draw!

OK Thanks. I had one person trying to say that it was in .5 groups. meaning that .001 to .499 had the same odds. Then .500 to .999 had same odds. But I thought it worked like you explained.
