I'm looking for some private land to hunt in Region A this year. Recently lost my lease to an outfitter. Willing to pay a reasonable trespass fee. I can be reached by phone at (570)972-9267 or by email at [email protected]. Thanks, Paul

What do you consider reasonable? I looked into trespass fees for region A and the going rate I found is $1500.

That seems reasonable to me depending upon the size of the property and the number of hunters. I was paying $1500 and then the outfitter raised the price to $4000. Perhaps you would be willing to share some of your info? If not, no problem as I will keep looking on my own. Thanks.

Can I assume the $1500 was per person?

We had noted A last two years, we got permission from 3 places for free! We just could not hunt till the paying hunters were done.
One guy was sure no problem, he had 2,400 acres but we were leaving the next day.
We will be calling him again this summer.
Be nice, be kind, be responsible, you will be surprised at the answers you get.
