Lighted nocs

Anyone have any experience using lighted nocs when archery hunting in WY? Specifically, anyone have a run in with the law? I checked the regs and they don't address lighted nocs or any other electronic equipment on a bow. I just called the WY G&F headquarters to ask. The first lady ( very nice and tried to help) did not know what a lighted noc is and initially said no, they can't be used. When I explained that the noc does not project light on the animal she put me on hold and checked with someone in law enforcement. She came back and said yes they can be used. I'm just curious if anyone has had issues with this. I may try to call the local game warden too.

Thanks for your insight.

If you were in Utah, you get the answer you needed and run with it. Especially if your a guide.

As JM77 stated, they are legal and that's another reason not to call the G&F Office and ask any legal or draw questions when a secretary answers the phone because they are nice, but don't know the laws and how things work. You always need to ask to speak with as high a person up the totem pole as is there for whatever section the question may be about and then jot down who you talked to and when!
