Unit 7 antelope

Has anyone ever done any hunting for antelope in area 7 in Wyoming? I did some scouting and learned a bit of the area, but just wondering how much pressure it gets? It has 600 tags, which leads me to believe it has heavy pressure, but just wondered if any of ya'll have had experience on it. Thanks!

I've hunted there probably 10 times on a private ranch about 10 miles west of Upton which is next to a public school section. The last time was about 4 or 5 years ago. We used to stay in the rundown motel in Upton. It burned down last year - what a surprise. Anyway, Antelope numbers are nothing like they were 20 years ago but still enough for a decent hunt. If you've done some scouting you're no doubt aware that most of the unit is private. What public there is gets pounded and the goats move on to private immediately. Get where you want to be early on opening day. GOOD LUCK

Thanks for the info and that was what I was thinking. During scouting we saw a good amount of goats, but figured after the first shot it would be slim pickings. Thanks again!

1200 tags when I hunted it years ago. You'll find one. More public now than then with the walk in they added.
