Not sure if I will have a Sept hunt. If not I will apply for Wy pronghorn. These are the units I have narrowed it down to. I have hunted 57 twice and had good hunts. Any reason to jump to any of the other units I have listed? Also I will put plenty of time into it as far as scouting and hunting days. Any guidance or advice is greatly appreciated.

Hunt the area you know and are comfortable with being able to scout ever inch of it. New areas are always fun, but don't always work out like we planned. 57 is as good or better as anything you've listed. Plus better since you have some experience there...good luck.

Agreed, I assume you're a resident. 57 seems like one of the top units in the state along with the neighboring units of 60-61. Low pressure I assume as well since it took 10 pts to draw the nonresident regular tag last year

I am NR. It would be pretty hard to plan hunts as a resident in these top units as there is no PP system for Residents. Correct?

That is correct on antelope, deer, and elk.

Can?t go wrong with 57. The 57-2 tag has the best draw odds in the state for a top tier area. Resident draw odds last year were approximately 50%...

57 has been somewhat dry and fawn recruitment is not good right now, from Biologist I talked with last night.
I would talk with the Biologist for 57 first. May not be an issue for this year but check into it.

Probably not an issue this year or next. Still better than the majority of the areas in the state IMO...

LAST EDITED ON Apr-11-18 AT 12:59PM (MST)[p]Hunted sixty seven in 12. Seen plenty nothing too big killed the second biggest one I seen in four days ....14.5" and 74".
I guess if I was in 57 twice already then you'll likely kill a better buck there since u are already clued in on maybe where to avoid as much as where to go look.
