Tried to apply for non resident unit 23 mule deer and the only option is whitetail......Did the mulely"s get that wiped out?

I think you need a Region C tag to hunt mule deer in 23.

Bob D is correct in that you need to apply for a Region C tag. The tag is good from 10/1-10/14 for any antlered deer off private land and for any deer on private land. It is also good for any whitetail deer from 11/1-11/30.
