Drew 73 Antelope

Pretty excited, went into the draw with 2 points under the special and drew the tag. I put in for it after advice from a local. I hunted a few years ago in unit 25 with SNS outfitters. Became good friends with my guide on that hunt and he recommended 73 as his son works on a large ranch that has some good goats.

So I plan on heading over and hunting the ranch (30000 acres) and he is going to show me around...However, anyone who is in that area or hunts it, curious what the trophy quality it like? 78-80" antelope reasonable expectations? I am hoping to kill on the ranch but would move over to public land if needed.

Any other information on this hunt or unit would be great.

I bet Sy wouldn't be too happy knowing a guide of his is setting up previous clients.

If I were you, I'd stay on that ranch and find a good one. There are not many in the 80" range with all the tags they have been putting out lately and the public ground gets picked over pretty good.

Let me clarify....This person does not guide any more and hasn't in a couple years....Anyways, excited to get out there and chase some goats.
