Unit 80 Antelope

My brother and I have a unit 80 antelope tag and we're wondering if anyone had any advice on good places to start looking. This is a family trip and are looking for places that are fairly close to Powell. We were thinking the Badlands Hills area but are not married to anything at this point. Also what is the trophy potential here, is a 80? realistic, I know we used quite a few points to get the tag but mainly chose the area because it worked with the family trip.

Antelope everywhere. 80" would be a real trophy. Depending on time to hunt don't shoot anything the first day. I would go up 294 ed towards Clarke into that chunk of BLM. The area north of lovell is good too. Keep us posted.

Thanks for the info, my family and I have moved on without a pronghorn, they were all over the place as you said, but finding a nice one that I could get close to with my kids was tougher than I was expecting(this was my first pronghorn hunt). My broyther scored on a run of the mill buck yesterday. If I can figure how to post a picture I will. I am off to Colorado for a deer hunt next week, if time allows I will make another trip to Wyomong and try and find a good goat. Thanks again for the help.

Antelope hunting can often get better by waiting until the rut starts the end of September.
If you have the time, it may be worth the trip and you will mostly be hunting without competition.
Get high and glass. Bucks start chasing does and often the bigger ones show up. 80" is a high mark in any unit.
